MVDT BOOSTER CLUB

The goal of the Viewettes Booster Club is to provide support for the dancers, Coaches and entire MVDT program. The Booster Club helps in providing finances for costumes, accommodations & much more! 

The Booster Club is made up of parents and guardians of Viewette dancers. We would like to welcome you to the program. Please check out our website, find something of interest to you and get involved. It is a great way to meet people and support these young athletes.

 

PURPOSE AND MISSION OF MVDT BOOSTER CLUB
 

The Mounds View Viewettes Booster Club is a non-profit organization formed for the purpose of supporting the Viewettes Dance Team and Mounds View High School.

MVDT Booster Club Goals:​

• Organize and schedule fundraising events to help finance the program and offset dancer costs

• Listen to and work closely with the head coach, as the head coach is the director of the sport program

• To encourage good sportsmanship, a sense of pride and tradition within the Mounds View High School Varsity, Junior Varsity & B-Squad Dance Teams.

• To provide a positive and supportive environment for team members and their coaches.

• Organize parent involvement opportunities and create an enthusiastic fan section at all competitions  

• To promote and publicize the Viewettes Dance Team, as a sport, within the school and community

 

MEMBERSHIP

Open to all Viewettes Dance Team families at MVHS. 


FUNDS

The Booster Club will use funds raised to purchase costumes, purchase equipment needed to further athlete development, fund team activities, and hotel costs as approved by Booster Club members.


MEETINGS

Booster club meetings take place once a month between the months of September and February.

It is suggested that one parent/guardian of each dancer attend these meetings to obtain pertinent information about upcoming events and to volunteer for various fundraising activities. Meeting dates for the 2023-24 season are TBD.
